16 Meters turns a simple parenting moment into a surprisingly suspenseful and hilarious short, following two exhausted parents attempting the delicate mission of carrying their sleeping children from the car to bed. The Interview begins on a modest note but gradually reveals a sharp, satirical edge as its premise unfolds. In a world where AI has taken over human jobs, the introduction of a “Human Applicant Program” cleverly flips the logic of employment into something absurd yet oddly plausible. The narrative gains strength through its humor and commentary on marketing, especially in how a simple, nihilistic idea becomes a commodified success. Well written and performed, the film balances its pessimistic outlook with wit, making it both entertaining and thought-provoking.

The story is deeply affecting, presenting a situation that feels both intimate and brutally honest. While emotionally difficult to watch, the film succeeds in creating a powerful reflection on loneliness and neglect, leaving a lasting and unsettling impression on the viewer.*

Real Is Unreal is a carefully structured and visually cohesive film that explores the blurred boundary between reality and illusion through layered storytelling. The film gently explores themes of loneliness, companionship, and renewal, showing how meaningful connections can emerge across generations and bring new rhythm into life, even in its later stages.
The short is both technically and emotionally well executed, with a thoughtful script and a tone that feels sincere without becoming overly sentimental. As a vertical-format series, the project succeeds in delivering a compelling and watchable experience. While the production carries a low-budget feel at times, it effectively uses its format to maintain engagement and narrative momentum. The concept is strong and the execution aligns well with the expectations of short-form episodic content, making it a promising piece within the AI-driven Verticals space.*
