This license includes the right to present the film through secure, ticketed online streaming via the Eventive platform and its associated applications, in addition to any in-person screenings.
All online festival screenings shall be:
The Entrant may, upon notification of selection, request specific geographic restrictions (e.g., exclusion of designated territories) or elect to opt out of online exhibition, in which case the film will be screened in-person only.
All online presentations conducted under this license are deemed private, ticketed festival exhibitions intended solely for cultural and educational purposes.
Such exhibitions do not constitute a public release, broadcast, or distribution of the film and shall not conflict with, limit, or prejudice any future exclusive public streaming, broadcast, or distribution agreements that the Entrant may pursue.
Following the conclusion of each official Festival event, the AI International Film Festival (“the Festival”) may, at its discretion, curate selected works for public Video-On-Demand (VOD) streaming on the Festival’s Eventive platform. These online presentations are intended to extend audience access to official Festival selections and winning films, serving as both a cultural resource and a secure archival showcase for the year following each edition.
Participation in the public VOD program is entirely voluntary and requires the filmmaker’s express authorization, typically collected via the Festival’s official Airtable permissions form.
When granted, this authorization constitutes a non-exclusive, revocable license permitting the Festival to include the film in a curated VOD block (for example, “September 2025 Winners”) under the following conditions:
Public VOD screenings are conducted as part of the Festival’s educational, cultural, and archival mission and are non-exclusive, non-commercial exhibitions. Such screenings do not constitute public release, broadcast, or distribution of the film and shall not conflict with, limit, or prejudice any current or future commercial streaming, broadcast, or distribution agreements the filmmaker may pursue.
